Academy
The Academy is the place of research and development for troops and armour.
After researching the troop or equipment you can train or build them, in the Barracks, Cavalry Stable or Workshop.
The Academy has 20 levels and 3 additions:  Research, Defence Capability and Attack Capability.

Academy > Research
At the Research you will see the resources needed to research troops or equipment.
After researching they will be activated in the game.

Academy > Defence Capability
After the troop or equipment has been researched then you can upgrade them with the Defence Capability to 20 levels (with
better weapons and armour).

Academy > Attack capability
After the troops or equipment has been researched then you can upgrade with Attack Capability to 20 levels (with better weapons and armour).
Please note (1) when you increase the Capability in Defence or Attack of a force that will have the same effect on all the forces you have made already.
Please note (2) the level of defence on the troops you send to protect someone depends on the level of defence on the hometown, not the town they are protecting.
